Art Nouveau Sapphire and Diamond day ring

An exquisite example of a period  dress ring from the Art Nouveau period of the early 1900’s, consisting of a 1 carat principle centre Old European cut diamond of fine quality set within a 950 platinum fluted collet. This collet is attached by an intricately floating claw set into a surrounding halo of French cut Kashmir sapphires of exceptional colour saturation then mounted in a diamond pave set shank all in the classic period combination of 950 Platinum and 18K (750) white gold.
