Georgian Enamel and Diamond Pendant

A very rare late 18th Century blue enamel and diamond pendant dated with the reign of King George III circa 1790. The pendant consists of a beautiful looped diamond bow made up of individually set rose cut diamonds forming the suspension bale; the tear drop enamelled centre is embossed with a floral tribute head cluster that is stunning and glistening. The pendant has additional set diamonds culminating to form a halo that is wonderfully evocative of the whole Georgian romantic epoch. The pendant would look simply stunning when worn at any black-tie soiree.
